@TJvigilante thats 5mph over the limit here in australia infact i was traveling at 120kmph in a 110kmph zone on a country road here in australia and when you are driving 3600kms til your destination 5mph over the limit is quite understandable. we dont have motorways that go from one state to another here and a lot of our truck drivers here are on speed to stay awake for interstate traveling, so no it wasnt my fault

The main choices for 4x4s out there are land rovers and land cruisers because they're the vehicles bought by the retailers in those places. Then there's the pretentious europeans who snub their noses at anything American.500k km and still on the road...I'm sure it's hemorrhaging oil from every orifice and only has half its sheetmetal remaining. I've seen original MB Willys with innumerable miles still puttering around OFFROAD during WWII re-enactments.

Um...so if you have a 4x4, it should be equipped with a magical teleportation device that bypasses all roads on the way to one's destination? Or are you suggesting that I should take my daily driver Jeep across peoples' yards, through their houses, up and down embankments, just because it's a 4x4?Vehicles such as Tahoes are simply large enclosed pickup trucks with 4x4 capability. they're comfortable utility vehicles, and some need them. Some don't, sure. But don't lump them together.

"only" 75 mph, and there was a side road? You were speeding, son. Not the truck's fault.

Blind corners leading into a side road where a car is pulling out...it's called GOING SLOW, moron.Modern SUVs can turn and brake well enough to avoid collisions. You don't need to be in an MX5 to avoid a collision. When you actually sit behind the wheel of a car, instead of controlling one on Need for Speed, you can talk. Until then, shut your cockholster, punk.

no they dont, you wouldnt know because youve never owned one.. stop trying to sound all smart. In all the remote places in the world like outback australia (where I live) and remote areas of africa, the main choice in 4x4 are landcruisers because they just keep going... all the ones i see on sale here have clocked over 500 000 kms and are still on the road

Totally agree, 4x4's sould be used for what they are intended for. Now that's impossible since most car companies are making them primaraly for on road use.

r you retarted even drive at all?its not u that causes the fuckin accident it is another crazy mofo that gives u little to no warning and u have to tur and brake quickley or your screwed so once again..,ur flat wrong
alexattack0 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
landruisers fall apart faster than any thing....
alexattack0 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
any collision?what bout blind corners leeding into a side road were a car is pulln out...the thing is that SUV's even if hey ont roll over can never turn or brake as well as a small lighter nimbler car and sayig you can avoid an colision is the most un thought out flat wong statement that can be said. |
