While that could be the reason, it's just plain stupid. If you own a Lambo you're not going to run away from the police, that's just fcken retarded. You can afford the ticket easily. Anyway, it's not like you're going to be able to runaway. In the U.S. cops are everywhere and I'm sure a lambo will be easy to spot even if you managed to lose 1 cop. Speed limiters are there for few reasons (some don't apply to this car). 1. Tires failing 2. Insurance purposes 3. People can't handle the speed
