If he has the money to buy a 250k a year he is rich. If he makes 270k he pays the normal tax on 250 and has to pay 3% extra on the extra 20k. I hope I got that right. Under Obama's tax plan he will have to shell out 600 more every year. Is that too much to pay? If my calculations are wrong then he has to pay 6000 more. even that doesn't seem too much for somebody who can make 250k a year in profit and not revenue. Dumbass

Joe the Plumber should have been sniffed out for not knowing what he was talking about when he said "I'm buying a business that makes 250, 260, 270 thousand a year." Let's forget for a second that this just sounds like BS. OK, you're buying a business that makes just over the point where your taxes will go up. But, when you're in a higher tax bracket, you're not paying the higher rate on your whole salary. 251,000 hardly pays any more taxes than 249,000.
